
The Husab Mine is a Uranium mine inland from the coastal town of Swakopmund in the central coastal area of Namibia. The purpose of the pipeline is to deliver water to the new mine. NamWater took over the operation of the facilities once the pipeline and related facilities were
functional. The specifications of the Flowtite GRP pipes include 12 084m /DN600/PN16/SN5000, as well as 5 186m /DN600/PN25/SN5000.
A total length of 17 200m Flowtite GRP pipes was supplied for this project.
